Ben Along Time (Ben)

Sourced by Donal Barnwell in Ireland as a 4 year old, Ben was purchased by Edwin and Peta McAuley. From the very beginning of his career, Ben showed the talent and determination that would lead him to all of his major wins around the world. Progressing up the grades with ease Ben competed in his first 3*** at the age of 7 finishing in 6th place.

Twice a World Cup Winner, Ben became one of the most travelled event horses on the circuit notching up wins all over the world including Malmo CIC***W-Final, Chatsworth CIC3***W, Saumur CCI3***, Rolex Kentucky CCI4**** and Deauville CIC3***W-Final. He was also a member of the Australian team at the 2006 World Equestrian Games winning the individual silver medal and was part of the silver medal winning Australian team at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

An awesome XC horse, Ben built up the an enviable record with only one XC jump fault to his name over a 10 year period of International competition. Happiest when he was the center of attention, Ben could always be relied upon to perform at his best when under pressure at the biggest competitions around the world.

Although now retired from Eventing, Ben Along Time is enjoying an active retirement back in Hong Kong continuing to be spoiled rotten by all around him and competing in Dressage competitions with his owner, Peta McAuley.
